On a mission
Stepping Stones Ministry is a 501 (c) 3 non-profit organization dedicated to helping girls age 18 and older that have been in foster care or come from a similar background.
Stepping Stones Ministry guides young adults without families toward a brighter future. Young women, some of whom have “aged out” of the foster care system and have no support or assistance, will be equipped for independent living by our ministry. Our ministry include safe housing, mentoring, life skills training, and resources coordination. Our aim is to lead young lives through a successful transition to productive adulthood and effective relationships with the community to help these young women become a productive godly solution to our society. Some of the basic principles we will be teaching are first and most importantly God’s love for them, family structure, covenant relationship principles, life skills, interviewing and dressing for success, and budgeting and finance.
